Why do the challenge?

Because when we do challenges and go outside our comfort zones, amazing things happen. It helps ordinary people see that incredible achievements ARE possible with hard work, support and belief in one’s own ability!

where is it taking place?

We run the challenge from a lake near Bristol.

Why the 29th of June 2024?

We want to maximise the amount of daylight available to us

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We still complete the challenge. Bad weather doesn’t stop us!

Will support be provided?

Yes.  We are working this year to ensure we have a support team available for both the run and the bike ride.

Is it for fun or raising money?

Part of the criteria for taking part is that we want everyone to commit to raising a minimum of £500 for doing the challenge. We are in the process of selecting a charity to raise funds for and expect to confirm this by the middle of January.

What costs are there?

There is no fee to take part in the 1x10x100 challenge, but we do ask anyone who takes part to nominate a charity that is important to them and look to raise a minimum of £500 for that charity.  Together, we want charities all over the UK to benefit from ordinary people doing extraordinary things!

When the challenge start?

Last year we started the swim at 530, the run at 8am and the bike ride at 11am. We finished by 8.30pm. Its not the time to do the challenge that matters but about you getting through it!

Who is the charity?

We are in the process of confirming who the charity is for the challenge. Taking part in the challenge will be tough and so having someone to do it in memory of (or to inspire you) will be vital and we are very thankful of some of the amazing work that charities like Marie Curie and Macmillan do for those who are losing loved ones.

I don’t think I could do this.

I can’t swim/run/ride a bike - Delete the one you don’t like!

You are made of stronger stuff than you think! Yes you need to do some training and we will provide suggestions of what to do and how to train before the day but you can achieve anything IF you want it enough and put your mind to it. We achieve together as a team. We finish the challenge when we finish as a team.

What made you even think about this?

Message James and find out. His brain works in funny ways 🙂
